some recent updates

Recently I have been occupying myself with episodes of The Vampire Diaries--my new FAVOURITE show. It's about two vampire brothers and a teenage human girl, a love triangle kind of thing happening. Combine two gorgeous boys + the fact they are brothers (brother rivalry) + a touch of mystery and suspense + an interesting storyline and you've got yourself a freaking awesome tv show, def. have my attention.

Ian Somehalder *drools* I wasn't a fan of him on LOST but def. am now :)

 

Besides devouring my net speed on American TV shows i've also been paying close attention to Pinoy Big Brother on youtube (since our household doesn't have TFC) in particular the MELASON loveteam. I won't go into detail because it probably won't interest you but they make me laugh. Whether or not they're attraction is real or not, it doesn't matter, they make a cute and quirky pair.

On another note, mum has come back from her trip to the Philippines and you know what that means ?!! PASLUBONG ! yaaaay i didn't ask mum to get me much simply because i didn't know what i wanted but she got a few presents, as well some of the cousins. Bags, wallets, a dvd, food, shirts, typical pasalubong stuff :) I also finally got to see the snaphots my mum took with Piolo, KC and Zanjoe. Zanjoe is hella tall ! Piolo is beautiful hahaha and KC is yeah pretty too lol...

I feel pretty pleased with myself for some pretty decent accomplishments this semester. Got a few of my assignment marks back and I am happy to say that I received no Fail grade...so far !

• Primary Health Care-Field work + Concept Mark Assignment = Distinction
• Foundations of Mental Health-Patient care plan essay = Credit
• Foundations of Patho 4-Dietary Assignment = 13/15.. Distinction ? Credit ? 
• Adult Nursing: Cellular Alterations-Clinical Case Scenario Essay = result pending

So yes so far it has been pretty good. But should not be getting complacent and must study for upcoming  quiz and exams!

I remember when getting high
Meant swinging in the sky.
When good-byes and sorrows,
Were gone tomorrow.
Or big men on campus,
Was only 6th grade status.
I remember drinks with no aftermath,
Weeds only picked out of the grass.
When speeding and fame,
Were found only in games.
Where parties never lagged,
But always included a goodie-bag.
I remember when guys had cooties,
And girls weren’t moody.
A time when smoking,
Only described a fire choking.
A time when wasted,
Meant the veggies you hadn’t tasted.
And its crazy how its coming back,
Like a prolonged, sneak attack.
‘Cuz all we wanted was to be grown up; however,
In the review it’s our childhood we need to treasure.

Reckless

Sometimes I scare the fcuking shit outta myself. Rage and driving at night with the wet conditions isn't a good combination. There's a certain freedom with driving and the ability to push yourself to as fast as you think you can. The adrenaline and fear put together is crazy, exciting and frightening. Didn't think twice that my brother was in the passenger seat probably shitting himself. Pushed 70km/hr in a neighbourhood street and I didn't give a shit. I could have driven off the face of the planet and I wouldn't care...feeling reckless...My own mood swings are giving me whiplash and fcuk your PMS theory, don't ask cos won't tell.

let me vent

Feeling a bit agro... suppressed emotions. People's self obsession and insignficant shit, look outside your little window that you have and see that other people are going through so much worse. WAKE THE FCUK UP ! And i don't want to go back down memory lane because honestly where have you been the last few months ?! Quit the small talk and pleasantries because let's face it, we don't care what each other really says really..
