RIP Lolo Doc

Yes i have a sudden urge to blog before i get my ass to uni. Got about 15mins before i need to start showering, dressing etc but just felt the need to :)

As you can see from the title my lolo (grandfather) passed away last night. My aunty broke the news to me last evening then she contacted my dad who was at a party about what happened. I was in tears as well about my lolo passing but mostly about my dad, and how he didnt get a chance to say goodbye in person. Imagine being halfway around the world when your loved one passes away, makes you kind of feel sort of helpless knowing that your mum/family is going through a tough time and not being able to be there. Dad took it hard i think, mum said it was like the first time she saw my dad in tears. It was kind of endearing hearing this as dad is more of the type of man who keeps his emotions to himself. His good now though, back to his normal manner and his booking his flight to the Phils today and hopefully head out on wednesday. Unfortunately we cant go with him so it'll just be him and my uncle (his brother) going. The most important thing is that he's going and has the chance to say his goodbyes and pay his respects.

Heart goes out to my Lola (grandmother) who's heart is probably shattered after watching the man she's loved for over 50yrs, i hate to say this but, deterioate. Yeah Lolo's been sick for a while, and the past few months have been kind of like a waiting game. But we're so lucky that the Lord has given us more time, time to share and spend with him, time to see him and most of time to prepare for what was to come. So it wasn't sudden i think it was expected but still it would have been so hard for lola to watch him get worse as the days wore past.

But yes thankyou Lord for blessing my family with my grandfather; a great dentist, grandfather, father and husband who we dearly loved.
