Knock and run gone WRONG

This blog was suppose to be about Viv's fun filled birthday celebrations but I'm to annoyed that i need to vent so bare with me yeah! haha

Knock and run gone wrong. My brother and a few of his friends were over but after a few game of cards they got bored and decided to go out for a walk. One out of the group of four kids decided it would be a fun idea if they took the scream mask and go around knocking on random people houses. What they did not expect was for one of the owners of the house to follow them back to our house and reprimand the hell out of them. This guy was totally ticked off yelling and threatening the kid who banged on his door that he would report him to the police. I was upstairs when i saw the scene through the window and decided to go outside and see what was up cos it looked pretty serious. I got outside to see my dad trying to calm the guy down. Apparently this was not the first time this kind of incident had occurred, and it just happened that my brother and his friends were the unlucky ones to have gotton caught. He was accusing my brother and his friends to have been responsible for lighting firecrackers in front of his house, jumping his child and disturbing his house days earlier which they did not do. Like what the hell accusing the kids without even having proof and calling the police? Was this guy freaking serious going a little overboard. And all he kept saying was that he didn't care and he had had enough of it all. He then took out his mobile and started taking photos of the kids as evidence of who they were for the police, I saw what he was doing and angrily stepped in. I told him that he had no right to take pictures of kids without their permission even if he intends to use it as evidence. At that point there was already some loud arguing and screaming from my brothers girlfriend as she was the one he was taking a photo of. He threatened to report to the police again and I told him that they were just kids and having fun and that he had scared them enough from doing it again. Things got pretty heated because he wouldn't accept the apology and wasn;t going to let it go asking for the kid responsible's details. Another thing that annoyed me about the whole thing was how my brother was shifting the blame onto the guy who had banged on this man's door. I was annoyed because even though he had not banged on the door himself he was still there and had still agreed to go along with what was happening and that he should have taken some responsibility for what happened instead at pointing at his friend and blaming it all on him! The kid admitted to doing it and was willing to take all the blame even though they had all gone with him. This all went on for about 30mins or so.

Then again I guess the possibility of having the police talk to them all made them pretty scared that they all just dropped their balls (lol don't know how else to put it but that's what it looked like). But still it was pretty cowardly it was annoying, it seemed that i was the only one standing up for him. Yeah the kid was at the wrong but no one else was standing up for him I felt that I had to even though he was at the wrong. Yeah I'm pretty stubborn that way. Arrgh whatever if the man has any more problems I'm sure he'll know where to find us !
