Dell Studio 14z

So the parents were kind of hinting that they might buy the brother and I a laptop each since we spend so much time on the computer doing *homework* :):) A Mac was ruled out because it's too expensive to buy for two and plus Dad thinks its overrated, which I was cool with. Take the Macbook Air for example, lightweight yes but they've sacrificed a lot just so it can be ultra thin.

Anyway I got a little carried away with laptop browsing on net. First choice was a Sony Vaio, judgment was based soley on looks and when I got to reading reviews and such..it didn't sound that great. So decided to check out Dad's original choice which was some sort of Dell laptop..and I have to say I absolutely fell in love with the Dell Studio 14z. Great reviews. I'm pretty much noob when it comes to computers, gadgets and the lingo that goes with it but got the basic gist. It's lightweight and mobile but still packs a punch and at a fairly good price, I'm going with the prices set out in America. I wonder though how the prices will stack up here in Australia. Oh and a lot of pretty colours and designs to choose from :) I wasn't a fan of the other laptop designs from Dell but this one and the Dell Adamo look pretty snazzy.

I got all excited when I was researching it then realised it hasn't even been released in Australia yet. Major bummer, but will most likely be released at the end of the month or July (hopefully). It'll be worth the wait I reckon. But if can't contain myself and get tempted to buy it over in America then maybe, must see how the prices will fair over there compared to here first.
